Corby burglary, items found in Weldon

In the early hours of Friday morning, thieves took items from a home in Corby while they slept.

Between 1am and 5am on Friday 2nd October, a home on Berneshaw Close, Corby, was broken in to. They stole bank cards, cash, a phone and a car.

The bank cards were used to buy fuel at a petrol station.

The car stolen is a light blue Ford Focus, the front cover is off under the headlight at the driver's side. Licence plate is FD06 VNK, but may have been changed by now.

The car had charity bags in the back of it, along with 3 car seats, one if which is light blue, and a few Primark bags.

The man who used the cards at the petrol station is 5ft10, slim build between 20 to 30 years old.

One of the bank cards stolen was found by a local resident on East Crescent, Weldon.

The owner of the car has been made aware the thieves have been trying to break into houses while using the light blue Ford Focus.

Please be extra vigilant with your security. Ensure all out buildings are locked and alarmed where possible and your homes are secure.

These men seem to be targeting homes while the occupants are asleep in their beds.
