Local dogs fundraising for the Poppy Appeal

Unfortunately, Weldon British Legion has been unable to have any fundraising events this year and are not allowed to sell poppies door to door.

Chairman of the Weldon Branch, Des Wallington, will be fundraising along with his dogs and needs your help!

Floyd and Freddie are taking on the challenge of walking 11 circuits of our village park. They will be joined by their friend Jezebel, a bouncy Jack Russell, and their dad Des. The walk around Weldon Woodland Park from the Kettering Road entrance will start at 11am on Saturday, November 7th.

We are sure that if you and your pooch would like to join them and show your support they would love the company!

If you wish to donate to the challenge you can do so HERE

Alternatively, donations can be left in a clearly marked envelop at 75a Corby Road or 54 High Street in Weldon or made by bank transfer to Weldon Legion
