Local group benefits from charity bottle sales

Last year (sounds scary doesn't it!), Weldon Village Online launched their charity LED light bottles which had kindly been sponsored by local businesses. Bottles were £5 each and contained LED lights.

During August and September 2019 we raised £105 and this was donated to Noah's Ark toddler group which is held in the Chapel hall every Monday.

Emma Kirby, group leader, had this to say when we gave her the news.

Oh wow - thank you so much! That is absolutely fantastic - we are tight on funds at the moment. This money will be so helpful to keep the group running and provide an enjoyable morning for the children and adults. I'm so chuffed that you thought of us!

The group has used the money to buy a slide and various craft materials.

We still have many bottles available! We have continued to sell these during November and December and we now have another sum of money to donate! Do you know of a local club or not for profit group that could use some help? We already have a couple of groups in mind but we welcome any ideas you may have.

If you would like to purchase a bottle please get in touch and let us know your favourite tipple, there's a good chance we have the bottle! They make fabulous table centres!

Our thanks go to the following people who without their sponsorship this would not have been possible.
