Old Road continues to be a dumping ground

As if the mess the travellers left behind wasn't bad enough our council tax then paid for it to be cleared up and now we have fly tipping!

The travellers have only been gone two weeks but already the old Stamford Road adjacent to East Crescent is being used for fly tipping again.

One angry resident sent us this picture of two sofas that have been dumped on the side of the road.

Why can't these people just use the recycling centre less than a mile away like everyone else?

In order to close this road with gates there needs to be evidence of anti-social behaviour. If you want to help stop this road being used as a traveller camp and dumping ground then please send an email to the addresses below complete with a picture of the anti-social behaviour and your name and address.

The more people that contact them the quicker we hope to get something done to prevent any more of our taxes being wasted on cleaning up and to enable local residents to live in peace.

Walking my dog along Larrat road this morning and at the top end by the Anglian Water yard, just by the roundabout a load of black bin liners full of what looks like loft insulation has been dumped
