Corby household waste recycling centre is currently closed.
It will open on Monday 18th May for essential use only.
The opening times are:
Monday - 10am to 6pm
Tuesday - 10am to 6pm
Wednesday - Closed
Thursday - Closed
Friday - 10am to 6pm
Saturday - 10am to 6pm
Sunday - 10am to 6pm
Strict rules have been enforced to protect against Coronavirus.
You should only visit a HWRC if the waste you are storing at home represents a health and safety risk.
If any of these following points apply to you, you should not visit a HWRC:
- you are self-isolating
- you have COVID-19 symptoms
- you live with someone who has symptoms
If you are high risk/ vulnerable to COVID-19 it is advised to not visit a HWRC due to the risk of increased exposure to the virus.
If any household members have had COVID-19 symptoms then the waste should be left for 72 hours because being brought to the site and the waste should be double-bagged.
No medical waste should be talen to a HWRC for disposal.
You should bring a document that displays your name and address which must be shown to site staff if requested.
The number of vehicles on-site will be restricted and vehicles will be allowed access on a one is, one out basis.
One person from each vehicle should leave to depose of the waste.
Traffic management will be in place at all sites and sue to safety concerns queueing outside of the site will be restricted, residents may be asked to leave and return at a later time.
Unfortunately, due to the circumstances, no assistance for unloading can be provided.
You must follow the instructions from site staff regarding the one-way systems for pedestrians that are in place.
