Repeat parking offender!

Just when we thought people had started to park responsibly...

This was the moment a Mum and her son in a disability pushchair were forced onto the road because of inconsiderate parking.

The car pictured above continues to park in this way despite previous pictures we have published.

The Editor witnessed this happening yesterday (Friday) and stopped to speak with the family. They could not believe someone would park in this way totally blocking the path, even for those without a pram or wheelchair. What was even more unbelievable was the car was displaying stickers about children onboard!

Let us have your thoughts and if you spot a car parked on the path send it in to us! It may just deter people from parking irresponsibly!

The parking around the Londis shop is an accident waiting to happen too – so many people think it’s ok to park fully on the pavements and on more than one occasion I’ve had to walk on the (busy road) with my young children. The cars all start moving off/reversing while we are trying to walk around them too and we get grumpy looks from the drivers because we’re getting in their way!

Walking with my dog today Sun in Corby Road from Hillside to Waters Lane at 3 ish I passed and counted 13 cars parked on the pavements and had to move aside on 3 occasions so cyclists could pass without a problem…..not certain as to whether a celebration was going on but !!!!
