Works to bridge – again!

A road in Corby old village is to partially close for six weeks. The same road which was closed for most of 2018

The bridge on Cottingham Road will be partially closed for six weeks from Monday, March 4.  Workers will be removing the present crash barrier to strengthen it, before it is reinstalled. It is planned for the bridge to reopen on Saturday April 27th 2019

During this time vehicles will still be able to use the bridge, but traffic lights will be in place. Motorists are advised to allow additional time for their journey or find an alternative route. The work will not effect pedestrian access.

The road was closed in January of 2018 and did not reopen until October 2018, two months later than originally planned.
