Despite the weather not being on their side some brave folk weathered the storm and took part in the garage sale. High winds and temperatures that would make a penguin shiver did put a few people off but not everyone was to be deterred!
The event which, was held in garages and gardens all over the village was in aid of Saint Mary's Church and made a very tidy sum of £557.93
Alison Caswell who organised the sale would like to express her thanks to not only the brave sellers but to the stalwart team who worked in the Church on the day on stalls and serving food.
Well done everyone and many thanks to Alison for organising everything.
